Work Related Art Experiences

• Auction for Child Orphanage 31/12/2015
  Paul exhibited in Le Mont Jacques, HLM Commercial Centre auctioning artwork and the proceedings then going straight to a child orphanage in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
• NI Creative & Cultural Skills Awards 2015
  Paul was picked as a shortlisted finalist for the 1st Northern Ireland Creative and Cultural Skills Awards 2015.
• "Spontaneous Control"
  A collaborative project with 8 young offenders held at Hydebank Wood College. During the project we created 8 development canvases which led on to create 3 final pieces (6x4 feet canvases).
• "The Liverpool School Art Movement"
  Co-founder of 'The Liverpool School Art Movement'. The subject of The Liverpool School’s work is city life and buildings and transportation – anything which depicts and portrays the rhythms of city life. As an aesthetic, the urban landscape may be regarded as the vision a society projects about itself into the future. Featuring work by Paul Doran amongst other artists.
• Ivory Coast Africa 01/01/2015
  Working for three months in Abidjan, the capital of Ivory Coast; fitting a new restaurant and champagne bar and also supplying artwork. He worked with local artists helping to organise and curate an exhibition.
• "Down But Not Out" 02/10/2014
  Presented three paintings and helped organise the 'Down But Not Out' art exhibition in the Titanic Centre Belfast for the homeless people of Belfast and donating the art proceedings to the homeless shelters.
